Question about Samsung LN-T3253H 32 in. LCD Television

1 Answer

Continuous crackling from TV speakers

Having a lot of trouble diagnosing this problem.
TV is a Samsung LN-T3253H.
Crackling sound comes out of TV speakers that is not super loud, but loud enough to be super annoying.
Here's what I've been able to figure out:
- Definitely from the TV speakers. Muting the TV mutes the crackling sound, and turning up the TV volume makes crackling get louder. - Definitely in the audio signal. You can hear the crackling in the audio signal even over headphones or external speakers. - It's audible on every input: components and HDMI.
There's nothing wrong with the picture, and its something that is consistently there. TV is past warranty, so I'm hoping to get a pretty good bead on the problem before calling a repairman.
Any ideas? Any help would be most appreciated.

I'm sure you have figured this one out. TV itself is causing the problems.
The circuit board that produces the audio signal seems to be the problem.
Before you call the repairman, go to the web site Shopjimmy.com just to get an idea of what the parts will cost. That way he doesn't rip you off.

I hope I answered your question correctly. Please rate me. :)

Panasonic sa-pt860 speakers crackling

Panasonic SC PT860 Manuals
The above link is the owner's manual - it may help.
Here are some other ideas:
Try to find out if the crackling sound is coming from all speakers or just one - you may just have one bad speaker.
If the crackling happens at high volume settings, you may be overdriving the system - you'll just have to turn it down!
Try turning down the bass or the subwoofer level.
Is the crackling present with all sources (TV, cable, DVD, bluetooth)?

Hello. My Samsung LCD model # LN-T3253H 60"/61"

It sounds like your LCD panel or your T-con board is bad . Panels are expensive so I would replace the T-con board first. You have to open the TV and get the part number from the actual board in order to find the correct one. You can find parts at www.interliquidparts.com

Sound fluxuates, crackling sound samsungTX-R3079WH sound goes up and down automaticly

If the sound FLUCTUATES up & down, try turning off the AutoVolume in the sound menu. You didn't say if it's one or all speakers crackling. Crackling is either a speaker or circuitry issue. Adjust the balance away from the speaker that crackles, if it stops, that speaker is probably "fried". If it still crackles, I'd turn off the speakers and run the sound thru a stereo for the quick, cheap fix. My Samsung (10+ years old to be fair) crackles due to a circuit issue but if I SMACK the left side speaker (behind which is the sound board and side panel connectors) it stops for a while. Maddening. I think I broke it squeezing it into the furniture it's in, pressing on the protruding RCA plugs. Dumb design.

Picture Size problem with Samsung Flat panel LN-T3253H

You should contact Samsung service to know if the internal setup for the picture sizing was not adjusted properly at the factory.

Take care that some of these sets have a user zoom mode. Maybe it is in the zoom mode. Check in your instruction manual before calling for service support.
