I have replaced door latch because door was not clicking shut. It now clicks shut but dishwasher does not work. It does work however when door is closed but not clicked. Also works when door is open!...

I appreciate your post, Lorraine McGowan!

Based off the information you have provided you have provided your Electrolux dishwasher is not working properly when the door has been shut and clicked. From what you have described it sounds like your door latch, wiring harness, or control panel could be the problem. I would highly recommend contacting a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hope this is helpful. -Matt

Elctrolux dishwasher won't start, display won't light. Any suggestions?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand your Electrolux dishwasher, model# EWDW6505GS, seems like it is not receiving power to the control panel. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging your appliance or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 20-30 minutes. Restore power and try any cycle. If you are still not receiving any lights, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and determine what is causing your control panel to not have power.. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

The door is stuck closed on my Vulcan Dishlex 500 ECO Dishwasher. i have tried to lever it open with a spatula applying downward pressure on the internal latch w and simultaneously lifting the door...

Hi just read your posting. What you need to do is to get a pointy small knife and put it between the door and frame and move it till you stop at the internal latch. Now lever the latch up and pull the door open. The part you need to change is the t shaped plastic rod. Please turn off the power before you undo the screws to change the plastic rod. Please reply for further help or information.Looking forward to your reply.

Dishlex 300 blobal dishwasher. have set dishwaher for normal wash as usual. All lights are one but dishwaher will not start. help please

It is likely the door switch is not engaging properly. Check the gasket is set properly and the door is closing when you shut it. Also confirm if it is not on delay start.

I have a electrolux dishlex dishwasher that has a push rod door, How do I open it to repair it ? The rod has broken again :( All help greatly appreciated

I got a small flat head screwdriver and placed it between the door and the body of the dishwasher, I then got a bigger screwdriver and gently put it in the space created by the smaller driver and gently pushed down to release the door !!!

I have a electrolux dishlex dx302 that will not heat the water and dry ,how dose it work?

Hi,
Yes I had the same problem. One of the solder joints on the relay was cracked but hardly visable. Resoldered it and no problems.
How to do it:
Make sure you turn off the power at the wall and pull out the plug. To get to the circuit board remove the screws on the inside top of the door and pull out the front panel (where the buttons are). Press the little clips and the white box containing the circuit board comes free. Remove all the plugs and lever open the small clips holding the box shut. After you open the box pull the circuit board up and have a look at the contacts under the black little box (relay). Use a soldering iron and some flux cored solder and redo the joints. Put it all back together and turn on to see how it goes.
Worked for me.
All the best......

The dishlex 302SB is not producing hot water for the washing

I have a Dishlex 302 which had this fault. Initially I thought it was the inline heater element and replaced it. It seemed to work but later no hot water again. Someone here put me on to the problem. There is a dry joint in the control board in the top of the door. This controls the relay which powers up the heater. Unplug it from the mains (very important) and undo the screws around the top of the door (don't take the door right off!) you will be able to wiggle off the front panel containing the electronics. The control board is ealiy disconnected an removed from the machine in its protective plastic cover. Have a look around the PCB and you will see the dry joint. Resolder with rosin core (electronic) solder, reassemble and you should have hot water.

Bosch Dishwasher SHX46A latch stuck in down possition.

look at the latch via the hole in the door where it closes to the tank? is the latch faced away from the tank? if so, then grab a paper clip and fold it so you can hook it around the latch then just pull outward towards the tank. you might need to hold that paper clip with some pliers. if it happens more than once then you will need to replace that door lock.

Tank is leaking

Is it the tank or just the door seals? Ours was leaking recently, there was an obvious tear in the door seal. Once fixed no probs.
