My phone does not maintain a charge. When I plug the charger in, it tells me the battery is full, but when I turn the phone on (still plugged in) it dies in several seconds. Off the charger, the phone will not turn on at all. How can I check the charging system to determine whether the problem is the battery, charger or something in the phone's electronics?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

sounds like you have a usb cable for charging only. You need a "2 way " usb cable, the kind used to transfer music and pictures to and from phone to computer. These one way cables are usually used in mobile chargering,as you don`t need to transfer things, just charge.Or you got wrong cable for your phone.
When your lg lsp 350t is fully charged, it stops reading like it is charging. You can also turn off the phone and plug in the charger, once it is full, the battery meter will turn blue or show battery full. \but when the phone is on, the way you will know that it is fully charged is that the battery shows a full bar and does not charge anymore.
Hope this information helped.
I had a similar problem with a brand new LG Xenon. The battery charger said it was charging but the phone didn't charge. When the battery life on the phone died the phone would not turn on with the charger. I plugged it into my USB port on my laptop and the phone fully charged for real. I got 4 days before I had to recharge it again. Try USB cable to a PC to charge phone. Charger is probably bad. I am getting a replacement and will see if that works.
How old is the phone? These kinds of batteries need to be handled with care. Meaning, for the battery life to be high, you must fully charge phone, then use the phone till the battery is dead, then fully charge again. Do not charge if there is still juice in the battery and do not take off charger after only partially charging the phone. This will help maintain the life of the battery.
You need to replace your battery. When you do follow these steps to preserve battery life.
1. Fully charge battery for 24 hours
2. Make sure that you use the phone without charging it until the phone tells you the battery is low.
3. Fully charge the battery until it reaches full again.
The reason your battery is failing to hold a charge is a problem call battery memory. The less power that you use off the battery the less capacity the battery has.
The issue is the charger port on the ENV2 breaks fairly easily. The first step is to contact your carrier to see if it is covered under warranty. If it is, great get it replaced.
If not, you have 3 options:
1. you can get the charging port repaired. The cost is about 50 dollars. 2. you can get a new phone. cost ??? 3. you can get an external battery charger to charger battery separate from phone. cost about 25 dollars. check out the following link for ones that are available on ebay.
