Oil leaking underneath washer. Whirlpool

At times when we look underneath the washer there is quite a large amount of oil on the floor. I have heard I need a seal and would also have to replace the belt. Any comments ????

Your washer does not have a belt. Your gearcase is the trouble, part # 3360629. Hope this helps!

Leaking whirlpool washer

Probably the pump seal - you need to replace the pump, which is located at the front.

Ultimate care supreme leaks underneath

First check the hoses to the machine. If they leak the water follows the hoses and drips on floor. Also check the hose connection at the washer. They will leak inside. Next it may well be a water pump going out or the plastic hose that is under pressure when operating. The pump is in the middle of machine underneth - Sorry - Good luck

Washer will agitate and drain but not spin; some oil underneath cabinet

Coupling may be bad bad the oil is coming from your transmission. It may already be locked up but certainly will eventually as oil gets lower. No real way to fix but to replace transmission.

Oil and water leak

Chances are they are not related if the water is clean. These units can run quite a while dripping small amounts of oil. The drain hose is a possibility but there are other places it can leak from. Call a local tech he can run the machine with the cabinet removed and should be able to find the source of the water leak. good luck
