Question about RCA P61927 61" Rear Projection Television
MY 61 INCH TV LOOKS LIKE IT'S 3D, NO SETTINGS HAVE BEEN TOUCHED. CAN YOU HELP?
Sounds like a convergence problem. If you cannot fix the convergence through the convergence menu or if the picture or even one or two of the colors are pushed in on the side(s) or somewhat twisted it could be that your convergence chips have failed. I can tell you that the site that Jean posted will not fix this
problem and could even make things worse. That site pertains to a specific problem that is common in
some Sony sets and should not be used to try to fix any other issue.
Please keep in mind many things can go wrong with TV sets and you should really do a lot of research before attempting any out of menu adjustments and or repairs. There are high voltages present in some areas and they can reside even when the set is unplugged.

Can't believe so many people are being ripped off by TV Repairs for
such a simple adjustment . Not to mention that none of these TV Manufacturers are adding this solution to their Manuls and websites....shame on them !

He had over 400 comments posted with over 90% of them being Consumes with similar problems as you and me who saved their

One might think that 3D would be a good thing but I am assuming that the problem is that it looks 3D without the glasses or in other words horribly fuzzy. If this is so you should be able to adjust the convergence in the set up menu to resolve your issue.
