SOURCE: i don't know if you

You put a tape in and press PLAY or >.

Cheaper cassette decks usually use a common motor to drive the capstan and the reels (through glorified rubber bands). As they age they stretch or slip and the take-up is fails to take up the tape efd by the capstan. Sensors usually detect the non-rotation and halt everything before much tape is fed out, lest you end up destroying your tape.

If the tape won't Fast Forward , or won't Rewind one or both of the reel drive belts is slipping. This class of equipment falls into the Not Economically Repairable category, but you could ask a local fiit guy if he'll take a look at it.

One other thing you could do is CLEAN the transport. It may be so glommed uo with crud that the tape is sticking to the head or capstan. Use a search engine to find out "how to clean a cassette deck".

Not sure if you mean the plug is cut on the car or the radio. The colour code is pretty uniform , so its easy with a meter to identify permanent 12V, switched 12V and ground. Whats left will generally be speakers and aerial power lead if you have a power aerial.

Need pin outs for eagle cuda 168

Coda has flat D 6 pin with center pin grd for 4 wire vs old arrow 6 pin round black one. Flat on bottom, count cw 12345 pins w pin 6 center... 2 pin minus 12 v, 4 pin +12v. For other 4 wire like speed/temp... 1 blue, 3(top) white, 5 pin bot right yellow, 6 center ground for spd/temp. White for speed wheel, rest not known. I used 2wire cable and 4wire cable with 2ft pigtails and 3amp fuse in red wire. I used old radio stereo 2 and 4 pin male female connectors at end of pigtails.

Jet sound equalizer js 214 wire color code

Black wire is ground, Red with 5a fuse is hot. Green/black is L Ground BTL, Grey /black is right ground BTL, the RCAs are left and right low level inputs. Then there is the 5 pin connector. It has a red wire for +12v, two black wires for input grounds, a green wire for left Hi input and a gray wire for right high input. If you install using traditional common ground high level, then you don't used the two BTL wires. Just connect the wires from your 5 pin connctor. If you use the low level RCAs for inputs, then you only need to connect the red and black from your 5 pin connector.(Plus the main red and black) Make sure the switched on the bottom of your EQ are set correctly. COM for common ground and LOW for RCA input or High for Green/Gray wire input. If you are using a floating ground the select BTL and connect the two BTL wires to the floating grounds of your stereo. There is also a line input adjuster so you can adjust your input sensitivity to match your reciever. I have the owners manual if you have any other questions.

I need to know what the wiring harness wires do and go to by the colors of the wires. Example (yellow=12v constant/Red=12v acc/ Black=ground)

OK, I assume you are talking about the harness of wires from the radio itself. If you are going to install this, I recommend you purchase an install wiring harness. This way you can plug into the factory harness of the vehicle. If you are attempting to hardwire the radio, please don't. If you vehicle doesn't have the factory vehicle side of the harness, try visiting the scosche or PAC website to see if they have it first. If you purchase a wiring harness, it will have all the information for the right install. Hope this helps.

The 3.5mm audio plug broke off on my Beyerdynamic headphones. I need to replace the plug. There are four conductors but I don't know what type of plug to buy (4-pin?) or what the pinout is.

Two of the wires are ground (-) and two are hot/signal (+). You'll need a stereo 3.5mm mini plug (try your local RS...they also call them 1/8" plugs). The stereo plug will be divided into three separate connections called Tip, Ring and Sleeve. The Tip is right channel signal, the Ring is left channel signal and the two grounds should be connected to the Sleeve or ground connection.

If you get one side of your headphones backward (out of phase, plus and minus backwards) you'll know by the sound quality and so reverse the wires of only one side to correct.
