Did you check to see if the hardware in your computer is compatible with that software? Sounds as if you have a sound card that isn't compatible with the software. Check Media player to see if you get sound out of both speakers, if you do then it could be compatibility issue.

Well sounds like some of the clips where recorded with Mono sounds and some with sterio sound, that would explain why you only get sound out of one speaker some time.

I am not possitive but I would say their sould be software out there to do that thought the sound would sound extremely bad.

I want to change the speed of a clip in final cut but the software says that can not do it because a have a conflict with the trim operation... what can i do??

Lock the tracks that are below the track your clip is on. This should do it. Keep in mind that adjusting the speed will also make all the clips on your track move in relation to the adjusted speed. If you just want to make the clip change speed without affecting anything else, you can create a new track, drag the clip you want up to the new track, lock all the other tracks and then adjust the speed. Then put the clip back in its place.

Print to Video from Final Cut to GV-HD700 HDV has been impossible. What are the proper settings for both programs?

Depends how you are out putting the signal and the aspect of the original source footage. If firewire insure input select is hdv / dv, iee. And that remote is selected (if that deck has a remote option). Ensure the aspect ratio is correct as a sequence setting mark the area with an in and out and select in/out in the print to video window. Away you go, unless the tape is for broadcast (which I doubt as HDV is not generally a deliverable format).

No sound even after disc finalized

just check the settings on your media player my guess is it recorded the wrong track format the reason i asked if it played on media player was just to make sure it had recorded the format that is used in most cd players is .wav as for your question for the best burning program i guess it comes to personal choice hope this helps regards Jim

HD footage stutters after captured in Final Cut Express HD 3.5.1

Did you capture as HDV? When you render is it ok? Some times it is best to capture as DV not HDV the quality will be as good (letter boxed) but it means fce is not having to decode the mpg4 compression of HDV in realtime. Can lead to a jolting due to extram RAM usage.

Video editing

In this case you need to convert it again. Lossless AVI format or HIGH QUALITY video format. Then drag it PINNACLE 12 and BURN.

If you have a mono audio track. You can set the pan all the way to the left, then copy and paste that audio track onto another one, then set the pan all the way to the right. You can set the pan by right clicking on the audio file in the timeline, I forget what you have to click after. But if you can read you should be fine. Just dont click ok on anything that you dont know.

Magix studio 10

the problem is you are only recording on one side if you are using only one source, try using dual mics (with a audio interface with at least 2 inputs) or just record your tracks in stereo, then change the playback prefference to mono for listening purposes, then change back to stereo before mixdown
