Remove bottom panel three screws, unscrew filter cap (have lots of towels cause it will drain), remove filter & clean out. Refit. If you have manual refer to it. Pl rate me if helped.

remember "left is loose, right is tight. So turn it counterclockwise. It will require some strength or a channel lock tool.

We saw water leaking out of the soap compartment at the top of the washer, close to the end of a washing cycle. What could be the problem?

access the service panel usually at the front on the bottom or back, and unscrew the round cap that contains the filter/strainer and make sure it is not blocked. Sounds lie it is restricted causing slow drain. Please let me know if this helps

Where is the pump/filter located on my Kenmore Front Loader Washe

It is just behind the lower panel. Remove the 3 screws from the lower panel (the panel just below the door), the screws are on the lip on the bottom of the panel facing the front of the machine. Pull down and toward you to get the panel off. The filter and clean out are in the center. Unscrew the cap to remove and clean out, but have lots of towels ready, there will be water coming out.

Unable to unscrew cap on filter on washing machine

You should be unscrewing anti-clockwise to remove it, if it will not come out, then there is probably somethiung stuck in the filter preventing it from pulling out.

Try moving it from side to side as you are unscrewing and pulling.

Kenmore front load won't drain

Try this, on the access panel below the door(panel that goes across the front of the washer) remove the attaching screws at the bottom corners and pull the panel off, you should see a round, white plastic cap with finger hold bar across the middle of it, unscrew the cap by turning it counter clockwise, pull it towards you to open the trap, clean the filter trap out completely and reverse the order you took it apart to put it back togrether, try running the machine as normal. Good luck and Happy Holidays!

It will not complete the cycle and gives the message F-21

Hello F21 indicates long drain. You should remove the panel below the door and behind the door you will find the pump. Built into the pump there is what looks like the gas cap to a car. unscrew this gas cap and clear the debris from the drain filter (gas cap) this should solve your problem. Mike

Take the front panel off (it's simply three hex screws along the bottom and a nudge upwards that do the trick), unscrew the cap to the pump filter, have a bucket handy for the torrent of water behind it.

This will expose the Pump Inlet Strainer.

Front-load washers have this design flaw. You'll be surprised what you'll find in there - panties, missing socks, nylons, hairballs, coins, legos, etc.

Washing machine won't do final spin.

Remove the front lower panel. Right in front you will see the pump filter. Get some towels and a bucket and unscrew the filter cap and pull the filter out. See if you have a bunch of lint and stuff in there. If you do, clear it out, refit carefully and give the washer another try. The companies dont tell you how to do it, for their techs then won't make any money. A tech to clean your filter!!!?? $$$

You're free to rate me............not that i get anything. Happy laundry!!

My intello washer stor working after it pumps the water out on the first cycle

First plug off the wall. This is actually for the Kenmore Elite, but it should help.
You have to check your filter to remove blockage. Lift the machine at front to have access to 3 torx screws under the front panel. Slide downwards out. Have a wet vac ready. You will see the pump filter right in front. Gently unscrew, water will begin to drip, use the wet vac. Remove the cap & pull the filter out to remove all debris & lint, make sure there is nothing in the impeller. Refit carefully.
