Question about Panasonic NV-GS11gc Mini DV Digital Camcorder
My Panisonic PV-GS150 will not eject the tape inside the camcorder. An error message on the screen shows up as well saying to "push the reset switch" when I open the tape eject on the side of the camcorder. The camcorder will not function when I set it to record or playback mode or anything else, the error message just comes up again. When I open the tape eject I hear a noise like it is trying to eject, but the tape slot wont pop open and eject. I have tried reseting the camcorder, opening and closing the tape eject multiple times all the way, Turning it off and on, taking out the battery and putting back in, and even plugging the camcorder into the wall just incase the battery was not good but the camcorder still does the same thing. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem without having to take it in to get fixed?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Playback & Ejection Problem
Hi, You usually get an EJECT TAPE when the camcorder has found an internal problem and either the videocassette or the camera itself has developed a problem. In you case, it looks like you tape has a problem. Daniel

I am having the exact sam problem on my PV-GS14. Have you been able to resolve the problem? If you have, how were you able to get the tape out? Thanks

SOURCE: push the reset button
let the camera sit alone for About 20 min,so that the camcorder automatically turned off. I turned it off,
then back on and did not receive the reset button prompt.
if that doesn't work unplug the battery and all power and plug back in.

Yes i had the same problem ...
1.Put the cassette as far as it allows... and move the cassette left and right slightly twisting , and you will activate the mechanism
2.SOON the mechanism gets fully out immediately!!!! remove the battery
3.CLEAN contacts (I'm looking right now on the internet to find where the hell sensors-contacts are)
4.PREY that it works :-)
