Re: how do I UNDELETE a voice recording I deleted on my...
I did undelete a voice file on my sansa 260. Go into settings on your sansa and make sure it is on usb instead of mtp mode. Then when you connect it to the computer it will see it the same an an external drive and you can run a restore program to recover the file. I used smart flash recovery (don't have to pay anything to restore just one file). It worked great.

When you deleted the voice recordings, you may have also deleted the key system file that allows the recorder to operate properly. Download the Sansa Firmware Updater for the c200 series from Sandisk's website, and see if it will reload a complete version of the firmware.
Yeah... Go to "My Computer," and select the player by right clicking and then hitting explore. You then need to hunt around in those folders till you find your recordings and then just highlight them and hit delete.
If you can't find them, try starting over, then after you "explore," go to tools-->folder options-->view--> then turn on "view hidden folders"
Hope this helps!
plug in your mp3 to the computer go to MY COMPUTER double click in the sansa e250 there are alot of folders theres one thart says RECORD double click on it the theres two folders in there one that says FM and one that says VOICE double click on it and in that folder you will find all your voice recording.
The only way I know to delete music files or voice or FM recordings, is straight from the User's manual on the CD:
1. Set the e250 to MSC mode.
2. Plug it in to your computer with the USB connector.
3. Open the Sansa e250 drive in My Computer and browse to the MUSIC folder (or RECORD folder)and delete the files there. (That's where you also add music files, by dragging from other explorer windows.)
To delete (or add) photo and video files, you have to use the Media Converter, which you install from the disk that came with the e250.
