There will either be a button on the controller....usually pretty small circularthat you will need to press along with the "sync" button on your xbox console. Sometimes aftermarket sync buttons are very small "pen tip" like. There may be a usb stick needed as with some Logitech products.
You have to sync the remote with the Wii. First, locate the sync buttons on both the remote and the Wii. The remote's sync button should be under the battery cover. The Wii's sync button should be under a flap near the disc drive. Then press the remote's sync button, followed by the Wii's sync button. Make sure there are batteries in the remote, and that the Wii is on.
i had same problem and the instructions don't tell you to double tap the nyko button and it'll start blinking real fast and then the foot pedal button while the guitar is blinking real fast and it'll sync...let me know if this works... firstname.lastname@example.org
