Question about Brother HL 5250DN Laser Printer
I just tried to replace my old drum (which I've had for 3 years) with a generic drum, purchased from Concord Supplies. Replacing the drum was fine, but after the replacement, print quality became extremely poor. Letters have lost most of their thickness and thin lines are not even printed. Everything just looks faded.
Did I do something wrong? Is there a setting I need to change? Or is this just a bad drum?
Switching back to my old drum, I get much, much better print quality.
Try a new toner, if its still a problem then the drum is a dud. I've had dud generic drum's before.
