Unsolder the old one from the bottom side of the board, note the polarity, and install the new one. Why not tell me the make, model, where it's located and why your changing a capacitor. ( cap for short )

Lg flatron w1943 flickering

Hello,

Two things, First you need to replace all of the capacitors on the power supply board at the same time even if they do not show signs of failure because they have been under stress. Secondly, you need to use the correct ratings on the capacitors not just the mfd and voltage. Parts from Radio Shack and such will not work right and can cause additional damage to the power supply board. Here is a link to an article about getting the correct capacitors for LCD monitor repairs.

I hope this helps,

Tv will not come on. Red light blinking on bottom left front. Red light blinks 7 times

I have the model Philips 37PF7320A/37 won't turn on and MOST articles on the Internet say it's the Capacitors capictors capictors..I checked all of them. My tv just blinked red lights, had the clicking sound at first power on, but then goes black. No sound. No picture. Nothing. Just blinking red lights.

MINE WAS RESISTOR no. 3318 , a 100 OHM RESISTOR ON POWER SUPPLY BOARD.

I BOUGHT REPLACEMENT FOR .99 CENTS SOLDER IT, AND EVERYTHING WORKED!!!

THAT WAS ALL IT TOOK.

JUST A SUGGESTION..
1. CHECK FOR BULGING CAPACITORS (90 PERCENT OF THE PROBLEM)
2. THEN CHECK FOR RESISTORS WITH MULTIMETER ( FALLS INTO THE OTHER 10 PERCENT OF THE PROBLEM.)

TELL ME IF THAT [email protected]

Led light keeps flashing orange, can get some sound.

It sound like you have a bad capictor on the power supply. If you take the back off your tv, you will see little round componets. These are the capictors. The tops should be completely flat. You may need to put your finger on the top to feel if they are bubbled at all. Find the one that is bubbled and replace it

HISSING SOUND WHEN TURNED ON. EVEYTHING WORKS OK.

Hissing sound is one or more leaking capictors. My suggestion is that if you have an extended warranty then get a repair guy to come out and fix it right away before you extended warranty expires.

Some times it turns right on and sometimes it dont turn on at all

the CP150, CP114 and CP120 capictor repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com should repair that issue. The kit contains the capacitors and the CD with instructions.

The picture is all waves ,I get sound and color but the picture is all lines and waves, what part should I get??

To fix the shaky picture on the toshiba rear projection tv model number 42h83. You need to either replace the 13 capictors on the hyper module or simply replace the hyper module itself. It's cheaper to replace the caps, but you'll need decent soldering skills to do this. You can replace the entire hyper module with less soldering skills, but I believe the module costs about $100, maybe alittle more. You can find the entire fix by googleing "hyper module". Good luck and I hope this helps
