Unsolder the old one from the bottom side of the board, note the polarity, and install the new one. Why not tell me the make, model, where it's located and why your changing a capacitor. ( cap for short )

I lost my picture I still have sound but no picture.

I have a Philips Magnavox Projection TV.

I had dish satelight install on my TV. It worked well for two days, then the picture started showing in a square box. I ffixed the convergence and it seemed okay. The next day I turned on the tv and it had sound, but no picture. When I press the status button, the picture would come on then go right back out. Now I don't have any sound or picture. Here is the model information:

Brand: Philips Magnavox
Model #: 9P6040 C104
Serial #: 51190366
Chassis # PTV843
Manufactured: Nov. 7, 2000 (3910K071H)
TV Receiver Listed: 347K E10839
Amps: 3.7
HZ: 60
V: 120

Can someone please, please help me!

the CP150, CP114 and CP120 capictor repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com should repair that issue. The kit contains the capacitors and the CD with instructions.

The picture is all waves ,I get sound and color but the picture is all lines and waves,what part should I get??

To fix the shaky picture on the toshiba rear projection tv model number 42h83. You need to either replace the 13 capictors on the hyper module or simply replace the hyper module itself. It's cheaper to replace the caps, but you'll need decent soldering skills to do this. You can replace the entire hyper module with less soldering skills, but I believe the module costs about $100, maybe alittle more. You can find the entire fix by googleing "hyper module". Good luck and I hope this helps

Contrast blooming/breathing. R-G-B bias and drive pot values

If the picture is only bending in on the sides the problem is in the pincushion circuit. If it is the entire picture there is a voltage regulation problem either in the power supply circuit or the power supply off the flyback transformer which is usually a diode and capacitor combination. If you want to go with the odds, replace CR4118 with part number 164590. You may want to put the original flyback in as there are many problems with aftermarkets and even if it is an RCA part it is still aftermatket. As far as the bias pots a little cleaning spray usually does the trick. I wouldn't worry about trying to get a perfect grey scale out of a 16 year old tube, the original pots are plenty accurate.

Wd 52525 error code 34 lamp abnomality

the capictor problem is mostly for WS models
you can locate the dm model from this link
http://www.fixya.com/howto/h159332-mitsubishi_dm_board_repair
Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.

For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.

Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:

12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected
