Question about Cuisinart DGB-300 Coffee Maker
Where can I get parts for this? The coffee maker is usable but the lid does not open all the way up nor does it close all the way. It is no longer under a warrantty. Thanks, Connie
The hinge itself is not orderable, but a lid with the element that fits into the hinge was available from Cuisinart the last time I checked. Call 1-800-726-0190 to be sure. It is not easy to put the replacement lid into the right place without breaking the part, but it is possible - you have to put one bar into the hinge, and then pull the other bar just enough to fit it into place without breaking it. If you are out of warranty, the lid will cost somewhere betwen $15 and $20 with shipping.
