Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
Whirlpool duet washer has begun a rumbling clacking sound when it is to the end of the drain cycle and is beginning to spin out the load. It doesn't matter which cycle it is on.
Check for debris in filter of pump assembly. The filter unscrews out of the machine. It is located behind the bottom panel. Remove the two or three screws holding the panel in place, gently ply down and you will see what looks like a handle. It will be hard to turn but unscrew it and check to see if there is any debris. Have towels near by as there will be quit a bit of water coming out as you remove it. It the unit still makes noise there is a good chance the pump motor is going.
