Search the web for a receiver for your mouse is about all I can suggest. You might want to start with E-bay or other auction sites. Best of luck on this quest.

Wireless mouse from Staples came without CD software program. It says to just plug in the receiver into USB port, batteries are new, mouse is turned on, but nothing happens

Monah Li,
Couple things you can try.
Make sure the mouse has a green light and the batteries or battery are inserted the correct way. Move the receiver to another USB port. Yes I know it should automatically detect it. But sometimes the operating system needs a little nudge to wake up. Try rebooting the system if this fails with the receiver plugged in.
These little receiver's have drivers built in. So CD is not needed.
If you know the usb port(s) work you may have a lemon... just return it for another one. Give her another go. :)
Good luck and hope this helps.

Case logic mouse ew-6000

There are 3 tricks to getting this mouse up and running:

  1. Do not attach the receiver to a hub.
  2. The mouse cursor will either NOT move at all, or very little 9and with a lot of wasted movement) until the PC is completely finished loading everything else; this mouse is the last piece of hardware to get checked at start up...
  3. Just keep trying to reconnect the receiver to different USB ports until it finally comes to life... it will.... eventually

My logitech mouse M215 is not working, at first i taught that it was just the battery but when i replace it instead of having a yellow light in the led it appears to be orange, i just want to know what is...

This problem is likely to be a lost connection. The connection between the mouse and the USB receiver can be lost due to several reasons such as:

  • Low battery
  • Moving the USB receiver from one USB port to another
  • Moving the USB receiver to another computer
  • Plugging the USB receiver into a USB hub or other unsupported device such as a KVM switch (your Unifying USB receiver must be plugged directly into your computer)
  • Using your cordless mouse on metal surfaces
  • Radio frequency (RF) interference of more powerful wireless devices such as:
    • Wireless speakers
    • Computer power supplies
    • Monitors
    • Cellular telephones
    • Garage door openers

Eliminate any problem sources mentioned above that might be affecting your device.

The MX 5500 is a usb bluetooth keyboard and mouse, I had this problem as well when I went beyond the range of the bluetooth. What i did to solve it was puchased a usb extension cable and moved the base key closer to my keyboard and mouse. (seems to me the limit was about 15-20 Feet.) and dont get any metal obstructions in between the receiver key and the kybrd / mouse such as a metal heat vent. ps. i do really like that unit, when it works it works well.

Lost Receiver For Logitech Mouse

I think you're out of luck. I could not find anywhere on web that sells just the receivers. Logitech's web site doesn't list them either. Your best bet would be to call logitech to see if they do sell them separately. Otherwise you shouldn't waste any more time and just go by a new mouse. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/contact/&cl=us,en

Nothing but snow

Your explanation about a different TV receiver working OK on the same aerial connections leads me to believe you have lost the tuning in the faulty receiver...
Just "snow" with no sound is a classic response for lost tuning....
It shouldnt have lost the tuning as there is a small battery(capacitor) that holds the previous receiver channel settings when you turn the TV off. But as you have had the Receiver in the back of a truck and disconnected from the power supply for some time then this is probably the culprit....
This battery (Capacitor) may be getting old and has lost its capability of sending a minute amount of current to the tuner IC (Chip) ...to hold your previous channel settings...So if you can retune the receiver to the output from the Dish Network Receiver you should be fine again, but if the battery is shot you need a new one....or just leave the Receiver in the standby mode for a couple of days to re-charge the battery (capacitor) up.
You will need a service technician to replace this small battery (capacitor) its a special type made just for your receiver....
Hope this helps
