If the model number you have this listed under is correct, these are the steps necessary to replace the belt on your dryer:

1. UNPLUG the dryer.
2. Locate the two screws under the lint screen door on the dryer top panel. Carefully remove screws. NOTE: Do not drop them down the lint chute. Place a free hand over the opening, or cover with tape to prevent this from happening.
3. With two screws removed, the top panel will slide towards you, then lift up.
4. While resting the top panel against your shoulder (or propped up), remove the front panel by removing the door latch connectors and ground wires, first. Then locate the two screws that hold the front panel to the side casing. There is one on each side. Place you body against the panel with the door shut to support the panel while you loosen the screws. With the screws removed, the panel should lift up a bit then come off. NOTE: Tape the door shut while removing, so it does not fly open.
5. You can leave the drum in place, or remove it completely. The new belt needs to wrap around the drum and be routed through the idler pulley and drive motor pulley. NOTE: Since the routing of the drive belt differs on some dryers, refer to replairclinic.com for dryer belt diagrams. Just click on the "Repair Help" link at the top of the page, followed by the "Dryer Belt Diagrams" heading under the Special Features section on the next page. Refer to diagram H for your dryer.
6. Reinstall components in the reverse order of the steps provided.

ADDITIONAL HINTS:

1. If you remove the drum, make sure it is seated properly on the back drum roller supports or the back of the drum will not seal properly against the back bulkhead.
2. When installing the front panel, look for the small black cleats along the front edge of the side panels. There will be a small square shaped hole on the bottom edge on the back of the front panel that the cleats must insert into. This can take some coordination if performing the repairs alone. A second person can come in handy. Once the front panel is mounted on the cleats properly, place your body against it to hold in place until you get the screws back in place.
3. Make sure the front of the drum fits around the door opening seam of the front panel when installing. This ensures a proper seal along the front of the drum.

Read through all the steps thoroughly before attempting the repair. This may seem a bit intimidating, but the process is actually very simple. If you get stuck along the way, have questions, or require additional assistance, please let me know before rating the solution. I hope this helps you.

Your dryer belt has broken and you have a new belt to install, but you do not know how to route the belt properly. Here are some pictures or diagrams to help you see how the belt needs to go. Of course the belt needs to go around the drum so that is not included.
The important part is the routing around the motor and the tensioner pulley.

The belt has come off the dryer drum. I dont know how the tensioner goes back on

stick the belt pulley in the holes closest to the motor. if you have a belt pulley like this. get the belt and hold it together so you have a loop at the end and run under the pulley so the pulley lifts up and put the belt on the motor shaft. the belt always goes under the pulley so you are lifting upwards
