Check the Vibration damper rods to be sure that...
1. They are there and mount is solid.
2. If they are broken in 1/2.
3. The plastic knuckle mounts are not missing/broken.
4. There is oil in the shock absorber/spring section of the rods.

Also - there are suspension springs on the bottom of the tub that could be broken and/or missing.

Replace/repair as necessary.

There's a few things that cause this and there may be no easy answer. Is the washer on the second floor? Is the washer on a ceramic tile floor? ...wait a minute, you said it vibrated the whole house so this makes me think the floor has some "give". If any of these there is no easy fix. I've seen ONE thing that does work though. It's a pedestal that spans under the washer AND dryer, one long one which distributes the weight and vibration. I don't know where to get one but I do know they are out there. One of my customers had one and I took notice because the floor was ceramic tile and the washer wasn't vibrating all over the place. It was very stable.

Same. Violent vibration

Check unit for level, has it been doing this since day 1? Buy "shakeaway pads" that is the brand name, floor may not be sturdy enough to handle vibrations. Older floors were not designed for front loaders, we see this all of the time.

Hotpoint wf620 aquarius very noisy and not letin any water in

A washer usually shakes or vibrates when it isn’t sitting firmly and level on the floor or because it has an out-of-balance wash load. First eliminate the possibility of the latter—adjust the load if it has scrunched up on one side of the tub. Then check the machine for solid, level support. For the machine to work properly, the floow must be flat, level, and strong enought to support the heavy, water-filled washer without deflecting under the load.

1) Unplug the washer.

2) Look under the washer, and make sure all feet are resting firmly on the floor.

3) Make sure the front legs have locking nuts to keep them tight and that the legs have rubber caps. If they don’t, buy these parts and install them.

4) Make the front feet as short as possible by screwing them up into the machine. Place a level on top of the washing machine and adjust the front feet slightly if needed to level the washer; do not fully extend them.

5) If necessary, tilt the washing machine forward. This will let the back feet self adjust. Recheck for level, and adjust the front feet again.

6) Plug in the machine, and run it empty through the spin cycle to see if it still vibrates.

7) If it does, call a repairperson or the manufacturer to ask about solutions.

Out of balance drum WM2277HW?

More than likely it did not get reinstalled right after the move. All four of the leveling legs must be firmly touching the floor. If one is even the thickness of a piece of paper off the floor it will start to rock during spin and the problem just amplifies itself. Make sure it's perfectly level and that all the feet are firmly on the floor.

Indesit WI 121 washing machine

If this is a front loader it could be the up/down motion causing machine to vibrate against the floor. You can pick up some cushion pads for front load washer and dryers at the dealers to go under the four corners of the machines.

Unbalance

You problem may a simple leveling issue. Check your machine front to back and side to side to ensure it properly level. Also, most top-loaders have "self-leveling" feet on the rear legs. If you walk up to your washer and it looks like the back is sitting lower than the front, you may only have to follow a few simple steps to re-level it. If your machine is equipped with this type of leveling system all you have to do is to lift the rear legs of the floor about two-inches by rocking the machine (empty of water, of course) towards you: 1. Lift the lid. 2. Place one hand under the rim of the front casing (not the wash tub). 3. Place your foot at the center of the front base to keep it from sliding. 4. Pull towards you to lift the back feet off the floor. 5. You should hear clicking noises as the feet re-level. 6. Slowly lower machine back to the floor. This should take care of most leveling problems that cause your machine to vibrate and shake during the spin cycle. These legs periodically become unlevel due to vibration and need to checked from time to time. I hope this may help you.
