With the sansa e260 a disk comes with it and you need to install the formater that is in the disk...put the disk in your computer and then the compter will start to load a page that has sever options then click the button that says install the sansa media converter...once its done converting(converting may take a while) the video should be on you mp3 player if not the video has been dumped (or placed) somewhere...you will want to go to file (this is in the sansa media converter) and then click output folder...then follow where the out put folder goes....then once you have found the video left click it once then right click it then click cut...then open up my computer go to the mp3 player then go to the video folder in the mp3 player then right click somewhere in the window and click paste then it will transfer...after the transfer unhook you sansa from you computer and check the video...(it will be sideways just to let you know.....its supposed to be that way so you get the biggest picture out of that screen)

Then you can't get any songs. I know a good site that I get lots of FREE and LEGAL music without REGISTRATION. Try, www.mp3raid.com - a site that gives you free music without viruses trojan, spyware etc, and www.listentoyoutube.com where you get the mp3 music from a youtube video, whether it be a music video etc. None of these are harmful to your computer, and none of these need downloading they are browser based, and they require no registration or credit card details. You could also upload your own CDs onto your computer and then put them onto your mp3. I hope this helped.
I know this is only part of the solution: - turn off your sansa clip - put the slide button on hold - press the centered button while connecting the sansa clip to your pc the sansa clip will now be visible as a removable disk under 'my computer' :-)
The Sansa player always wants to sync with the first/original computer that you hooked the player to to make sure you still have a paid subscription to Rhapsody, Napster, etc (sometimes it works if you hook it to another computer with an open internet connection so that it can verify that the subscription is still good).
if the sound doesnt work on your computer it's probably the video. try putting other videos on that do work on your computer becuase then you can figure out if its the videos causing the orlbem or your mp3. heres a link to the sansa forums just in case http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board?board.id=e200
Check if the player is in Autodetect/MTP then try retransferring the songs on the player. And before unplugging the player from the computer check if the files are transferred to the player click on the sansa e200 player on the left window to check if it had really transfferred the songs to the player. If it still wont work, try trasnferring songs using windows media player.
Hey to get music onto the Sansa e250R you have to plug the Sansa into the computer. Next go to mycomputer. Then onen ethier sansa or Removable Disk(F:). Then take the songs you want and drag them on to the white space under photos and vidos and all that other files. DO NOT PUT IT IN A FILE.
