You have used up all of the remote spaces on the opener. You need to reset the remotes. Press and hold the learn button for 8 seconds. This clears the memory for all remotes. Then press and release the learn button and then press the button on the remote. The light will blink once on the opener. Repeat this step on the other remotes.

How do I check a wireless garage door keypad, to see if it is transmitting?

These remotes don't loose the programming code when a battery goes dead, most likely the remote or the board on the opener went bad, do any other remotes work? You can take the remote to an auto parts store and test it there. (They have a tester for key fobs)

A wireless keypad will not work with your opener. Your opener is pretty old and the new models are much safer. You might consider replacing the entire thing.

When I set the code in the key pad it seems to cancel the code already in the remotes. Would appreciate any ideas on how to correct the problem.

Your keypad and your remotes are not the same technology. One of them is Security + and the other is Billion code. Each of them will operate your opener but they will not work with one another. Did you just purchase the keypad?

Either you have the wrong keypad for your opener or it has reverted to another technology. Whichever you need to get the model number off the opener and get another keypad. The model number is on the opposite end of where all those white wires go. If it is a Craftsman it will start with 139.

Your keypad may be bad. If you press and immediately release the smart/learn button and then key in your 4 digit code and press enter the keypad should be working. Be sure you have a good battery. Actually the flashing of the keypad is indicating that it is sending the signal to the receiver. Holding the enter button in doesn't do anything extra.

Reset garage door code

Hi, The opener, remotes and keypads have a set of dip switches that you can use to change the code. You will find the switches when you open the remotes and keypad and are in the back cover ( depending on the model) of the opener itself. Make sure that the codes of all the switches are set exactly the same. If you need additional help let me know! Good Luck.

Reset keyless remote..need directions for 1/2 horsepower sear's b

Ok you need to reset the code on your keypad? Or put a new code in. Well ill tell you how to do both. Before you start make sure you have all the remotes with you. to clear the keypad you have to delete all the codes for all the remotes (No there is no other way :-/) To do this there is a little red button on your opener its self not the remote. Press and hold it till the light goes out.(apox 6-8 sec) Try one of the remote they should not work. Now to set everything back up. Press the red button again just once DONT NOT HOLD IT. a little ambered color light will come on and flash then press the remote untill you hear a click and the lights on the open should flash once. Repaet that for each remote. Ok now to set up your keypad press the red button again go to your keypad and type in your code and hold enter till you see the lights flash on the opener. Then type in your code again to make sure it worked. If you just wanted to program a new code for your keypad then just do that last step
