I fill to the 30 cup level, add the coffee to the basket, position the tube over the center hole and close top. Then I plug in, light goes on, nothing else happens. HELP

If the light is going on...the thermostat is bad. Usually, the replacement can be gotten at any appliance parts website. You'll need a 180 degree unit. What you'll need to find inside is a unit about 5/8 inch in diameter 15mm. This has two connectors on it. Depending on the wiring, you'll likely need a low temp closed unit.
