TV PICTURE SETTINGS REVERT BACK TO DEFAULT LG 32PG6000

Hello, I have just purchased an LG 32PG6000 and whenever I try adjusting the picture settings to my preferred taste, after 10 minutes or so the new settings revert back to default. I just can't seem to retain my new adjustments. Am I doing something wrong ? LG 32LG3000 once enters standby next power-on changes to the picture items are lost e.g. turning down sharpening on the standard setting. Also forgets which picture setting was last selected and defaults to vivid on power on.

You make the adjustments then watch some programming and after 10 minutes it reverts back to default?

Or does it revert to default after turning the TV off? If this is the case what is the TV plugged into?

My LG 42LC7D picture has only blue and green. I tried adjusting the colors in the menu, but it didn't work. I also tried resetting it to the factory defaults, but it is still green and blue.

To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. This procedure will make it a hard reset. How can I reset my Philips 37 in flat screen TV back to the factory settings?

Hello,

You haven't mentioned the model no. of your TV. Nonetheless, the reset procedure for the model nos. 42PFL7409/98 / 42PFL7409S/98 goes like this:

1- Press Home,
2- Select [Setup] > [Installation] > [Factory
settings],
3- Press play to enter the [Factory settings]
menu
[Reset] is highlighted,
4- Press OK to reset to default settings.
5- Press Home to exit.
The reset procedure may differ for other model nos.

Furthermore, Press the "Menu" button to access the menu, and select "TV Settings" and then "Picture" to bring up the picture settings. Adjust the color, brightness, sharpness and other settings if the picture seems off. Select "Dynamic Contrast" to have the contrast adjust to screen changes and "Digital Noise Reduction" to cut down on outside interference and reduce noise in the signal. On the "Installation" menu, select "Reset AV Settings" to have the settings reset to their factory defaults.

I hope the above helps.

Good luck.

I purchased 42" LG Plasma TV and i need to know

There is quite a lot you can do. Go to menu, picture settings and select user 1. From here you can adjust everything from colour to contrast to warmth to sharpness. The best thing to do is to switch to XD manual adjustment and make sure the mpeg noise reduction is set to max. This removes artifacts and gives a better picture. Oddly, connecting via SCART rather than HDMI will give a more watchable picture if the HD broadcast is't at a very high bit-rate.
