Monitor is vertical display instead of horizontal display

My 2 year old managed to change the monitor from horizontal to vertical. So to view the monitor you either sit with your head on the side or turn the monitor on its side. Do you know how to get it back to a horizontal view.
We have a viewsonic VA902
Kazz COMPUTOR ABIT SG-95 motherb. Intel Core Pent. D celeron
with a Dell monitor ( 4 year old, from prev. comp.) which allowed vertical ( screen on it's side ) with the old comp. Used for Music staff & the screen is too wide & too low / short. No setting can be found to change "polarity " )
ASUS graphics card ( a pocket size book with 20 languages & only 2 pages per L. Has 2 discs V513 &558 in the box .

Apoloies. MANY THANKS FOR TRYING. Neither suggestion helped. This monitor worked ok on the Dell. I had did the conversion that time, but I cannot find the options on this one

Very many thanks for your suggestions, but the arrow keys etc. didn't help. I suspect it's a software problem. There would probably be a progr. to sort it.

APOLOGIES ON THE LATE reply, I forgot about it ( that I had written ) even though it bothers me nearly every day

The keys ctrl+alt+right arrow should do the trick for you. if not then right click on the keyboard and select properties for options and you will find your graphics software has its own rotational software. good luck with two year old, sounds like you'll need it.

You change display orientation by holding down at the same time the key combination ctrl alt and arrow keys at the same time.

This is not a monitor problem.

All you need to do is holding down the key combination ctrl alt and arrow keys at the same time.

    Do the following.

Hold down contrrol and alt key at same time, and also at same time, whilst holding down control and alt on left side, press one by one the arrow keys, that change screen orientation on windows .

Let me know how it goes.

There is no software bug that can do this, if control alt and arrows (try all arrows) does not work , it can only be a virus.

note: you must hold DOWN ALL THREE BUTTONS AT SAME TIME.

Hope this can fix the problem.

My crt acer ac512 monitar only centre line view,c"not full view why?

there are several reasons why picture of crt monitors did not display good picture. if your monitor had horizontal line at the center of the screen?...the faulty is in the vertical deflection, check the vertical oscillator also the fusible resistors & capacitors around that section. if there had vertical line at the center of the screen?..check the horizontal deflection, horizontal output transistor also check the YOKE.

Horizontal lines on my monitor

I have a similar problem with a 2 year old Samsung monitor. I have tried to make a screen dump of it, but the horizontal lines do not show up then. This I have read indicates that the problem is in the monitor and not the video card.
