I dropped my iphone 3g today from a height of 1 feet. The touchscreen is working properly but the display screen / LCD has gone WHITE. Touchscreen fucntions like answering & rejecting calls and sliding unlock is working fine but could not see anything only full WHITE screen and sometimes flickering lines.
Does anybody have a solution for this problem? Pleae tell me.

If there's no external damage on the screen then it must be inside. According to some people that have shared the same experience, lines go smaller at warm to hot temperatures and may fade whereas if it were cold, lines grow big. Although, in most cases it will remain there unless you replace the screen or solve the problem. iPhones have a sensitive screen which generally isn't shock proof if you drop it with or without a case covering it. Prices to fix your iPhone vary but are really expensive.
You will need to take this phone to Apple. Hopefully you have a warranty. I had the same problem once on my Iphone...It cost me 199 to replace my phone.. i had no insurance. You screen is damaged.Sorry.
