Well depends on how good of a mechanic you are. The reverse can be replaced. however the transaxle has to be removed. and you went that far... so logically you'd repair the whole thing. a catalog that you can get for free is called Northern Parts. They are out of Iowa. good stuff and offer lots of diffrent stuff and tranny kits inexpensive. (NOT cheap) thats for the parts companies with stuff made in china. Or call a auto salvage yard and see if they have a used one.

Replace reverse valve ir 2135

YOU NEED TO COMPLETELY DISASSEMBLE THE WHOLE TOOL.
START BY REMOVING THE 4 MOTOR HOUSING SCREWS, SLIDE THE HAMMER CASE, HAMMER ASSEMBLY AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY FROM THE MOTOR HOUSING.
THE REVERSE VALVE WILL BE VISIBLE NOTE THE ORIENTATION ON THE AIR OPENING IT LOOKS LIKE A HALF MOON, THE VALVE WITH EITHER BUTTON PRESSED IN SHOULD AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE.
NEXT YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE INLET BUSHING ASSEMBLY THAT IS HELD IN BY A CLIP THE IS VISIBLE THROUGH 2 SLOTS LOCATED ON THE LOWER SIDES OF THE GRIP, THEY NEED TO BE PRESSED IN TO SLIDE THE INLET BUSHING OUT THE BOTTOM OF THE TOOL. THERE IS A SPECIAL TOOL THAT SIMULTANEOUSLY PRESSES BOTH SIDES OF THE CLIP BUT CAN BE SUBSTITUTED WITH 2 SMALL FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVERS.
ONCE THE INLET IS REMOVED, THE TRIGGER CAN SLIDE OUT THE FRONT OF THE TOOL
NEXT USE A SMALL FLAT HEAD SCREW DRIVER TO PRY THE REVERSE BUTTON OUT OF THE HOUSING, INSERT THE SCREW DRIVER INSIDE THE INNER EDGE TO PRY OUT,
ROTATE THE VALVE 45 DEGREES IN THE OTHER DIRECTION TO REMOVE THE SECOND BUTTON.
NEXT PUSH DOWN ON THE REVERSE VALVE IT WILL COME OUT THE BOTTOM.

My impact wrench when connected to the airhose stay on even though the trigger isnt pressed

you probably have rust and goo in the line and it has stuck the trigger open, run some air tool oil in and let it soak or better yet some penetrating oil to break up the sludge and then when cleaned out use the air tool oil to lube it

95 dodge neon, why alternator belt broke and it is a new belt and how u get the alternator out put in new one in

the belt was too tight.. if this happens, you might also damage the bearings of the alternator assy...
remove the alterenator brcket/adjustment bracket... then remove the bolt connecting the assy to the engine... replace the alternator assy. then reverse the process to installl the new assy.. and tightened.... be sure to leave some play to the belt.... to prevent overstretching
