btinternet is a personal internet service.

Because if u have ur yahoo id,u can able to access from any computer .

For that u do not have to pay e-mails charges.

    Because u can send or receive e-mails , that's a free service.

And u can't trnf ur mail from one to another e-mail add.

In case your bt yahoo account is tide up to their corporate e-mail good chance that they might hold it. Your best option is to export all the mails that you need to keep and your address book.

Open a g-mail if you don't have one, they have a good size for FREE.

Once you sign up, forward all the mails and all your contacts to that new e-mail account.

Make sure you read their TOS (Terms of Service) to make sure that they can't hold anything against you.

Hope this helps,

J-inno

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Btinternet rejected my password to obtain my E mails

If you normally use an email program like Outlook or Mac Mail, try logging in to your webmail. If you can see your webmail OK, then it's likely to be a problem with the way your email program is set up.

How do Iget a new password? I've forgotten my old one so Iam unable to access my BT phone and Broadband account.

I would imagine that the best option is to ring them, though when I worked for blueyonder we could never give passwords out over the telephone; a new "weclome letter" had to be posted out for data security reasons that contained the relevant information.

I've forgotten my password to martinwreid@btinternet.com

Hi
BT have now transferred emails from what used to be known as BTYahoo and is now known as BTMail. If you go to the log in page here
Email Login Page
then you can enter your email address and underneath the password box is a link "Forgotten password". If you click on this (the word "password"), you will be taken to a page to enter your username (email address). Clicking continue will put a green tick against the email address (it does, I checked it with your email address) and then be taken to a page where you can choose how to receive a password reset email (martin.****@****asandadamson.com)
or a password reset text message (********6333)
If you no longer have access to this email or this phone then I am afraid you will have to brave the BT phone system so that they can reset your password !!
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

Cannot log into my btinternet account

Hi
To log into your btinternet account, you now need to go to the BT homepage and click on My BT on the blue bar and log in with your BT email address and password. If you do not know your password then there is a link just below the password box which says "forgotten password" and which will allow you to reset the password.
Cheers

I fear that you will only be able to change this by contacting BT and asking them to change it. There are no options available in BT mail online to enable you to change this and it is the main identifier for your broadband and other accounts.

Can't connect to server to get my btinternet mail

bet you can! I'm not a bt customer and I was able to get on their site to try and understand all these SAME questions about getting bt email. You're probably even on their server when you get onto the Internet, since it appears BT is an ISP (Internet Service Provider). You can go to http://home.bt.com and read how to resolve your issue, or talk to their agents and get sepcific help.

Hi Jenny, Yes most providers give you access to their email system for as long as you are subscribed to their Internet Services. If you cancel your BT Broadband Service then you will loose your BT Internet Email Accounts.

You may want to look at a Gmail or Yahoo account if you need a new one. Additionally I would recommend you change your question and remove your email from it ;) no sense in giving your other email to the world. Have a great day...

Sending email

here are the settings for btinternet, if you use "outlook" you must manually configure them!

  • The POP3 server (incoming mail) is mail.btinternet.com
  • The SMTP server (outgoing mail) is also mail.btinternet.com
  • Both need your BT Yahoo! email address and password; you will have to tell your e-mail program that the SMTP server requires authentication.
  • The SMTP server can use either port 25 or port 587.
The most common fault is to provide your ADSL username and password when your BT Yahoo! username and password is what's required.

good luck and regards
