When you start a cycle there is no water supply to the unit. I looked at the fill assembly and it would hum but no water. I tested the leads on the harness side and had 120v coming from the harness side to the fill assembly side. The water supply was on and working from the source. I took the fill assembly off and attempted to jump it. It did not work but I sparked it slightly also. Is it a safe bet to say that if you had power to the assembly but no water flow that I can just replace the fill assembly? Thanks
Hello Carroll Mcknight - Is the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the unit may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. Contact a professional to assist with the repairs and to move forward accurately.
Hello &
Welcome to FixYa
This problem
is caused when the motor goes bad and needs replacement. The control will fill
water and then sends signal to the motor to start a cycle, if it won't work
then it will drain the water and so won't start the cycle. However, it can also
be a bad door latch-lock assembly as if the control senses that the door is not
closed it won't start the cycle. If you hear any humming buzzing sound from the
bottom of the unit then replace the motor if not then replace the latch
assembly. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Water and Power going to the dishwasher and the panel lights come on but no response. The only thing that works is the drain cycle.
