Question about Levelone WCS-2010 Network Camera

1 Answer

When trying to buy tickets to Cubs baseball games, a box comes up with lines through it and you are asked to enter the number shown. I have no number shown and therefore can never order online. My laptop's operating system is Vista and I am using ie7. The sites says "make sure your browser has been configured to display images." How do I do this?

How to fix my acer extensa 4630z? Its boot manager is missing or corrupted.

First you need:
To enter Recovery Console in Windows XP, you will need to boot from the Windows XP CD.

Watch for a Press any key to boot from CD... message similar to the one shown above.
Press a key to force the computer to boot from the Windows CD. If you do not press a key, your PC will continue to boot to the Windows XP installation that's currently installed on your hard drive. If this happens, just restart and try to boot to the Windows XP CD again.
  1. Enter Windows XP Recovery Console. The Recovery Console is an advanced diagnostic mode of Windows XP with special tools that will allow you to restore the boot.ini file.
When you reach the command line (detailed in Step 6 in the link above), type the following command and then press Enter.

bootcfg /rebuild

The bootcfg utility will scan your hard drives for any Windows XP installations and then display the results. Follow the remaining steps to add your Windows XP installation to the boot.ini file.

The first prompt asks Add installation to boot list? (Yes/No/All).

Type Y in response to this question and press Enter.

The next prompt asks you to Enter Load Identifier:.

This is the name of the operating system. For example, type Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Home Edition and press Enter.

The final prompt asks you to Enter OS Load options:.

Type /Fastdetect here and press Enter.

Take out the Windows XP CD, type exit and then press Enter to restart your PC.

Assuming that a missing or corrupt boot.ini file was your only issue, Windows XP should now start normally.

How to auto remember application passwords

Popular Web browsers have features that allow them to remember passwords so you don't have to constantly enter login information on the websites you visit. If your browser does not automatically ask if you would like to save the passwords you type, you can quickly turn the feature on and begin saving your information.

Open Internet Explorer, and click "Tools." Click "Internet Options," and then select the "Content" tab. Click "Settings" under the "AutoComplete" heading. Locate the box that says "User names and passwords on forms" and click the box to check it. If you want Internet Explorer to ask your permission before saving a password you type, check the box next to "Ask me before saving passwords." Click "OK," and then click "OK" again. b> Mozilla Firefox b> Navigate to the login page of the site you want to save a password for, and enter your password. Click "Remember" when Firefox asks you if you want the password to be remembered. Turn the Password Manager on if you are not prompted to save the passwords that you enter. This feature is turned on by default, but if it has been disabled you can enable it. Click "Tools," "Options" and "Security," and then check the box next to "Remember passwords for sites." b> Apple Safari b> Open a browser window, and select "Safari" from the menu bar. Click "Preferences," and then click 'Autofill." Check the box next to "Usernames and passwords." Your passwords should be saved from now on. Hope this helps

I just bought a intel web cam used , do I need to download something to get it to work and what?

Yes you'll need it's driver to install it on your computer. Here the link where you can download the driver (click here) [for windows xp]. Open the link, scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a button "Download File" with an empty text box beside it. Enter the blurred text (captcha) shown on the left of the text box and press "Download File". Once you click the "Download File" another page will open, there click the blue link "Click to download CS110.xp.exe" and download will begin. After it's downloaded, connect the camera to your computer, double click the file and install the software.

If you need further help, let me know with the name of the Operating System installed on your computer.

Good luck.

Web cam setup

  • Open Windows Messenger
  • Login with you Windows Live ID
  • Below your user name is a tool bar select the right-most option Show Menu
  • Select Tools - Audio and Video Setup
  • Follow the instructions in the wizard
  • On completion you should see yourself via the webcam (adjust setting for brightness/ angle)

  • If this does not work ((this is not for the faint of heart so be careful, if you are unsure how to check this then ask for live help)) then go to the Windows start menu and in the Run box type services.msc and Enter.
  • Scroll down until you see two services LVComser and LVservlauncher and if either is shown as disabled then double-click to open the service
  • Change the Startup Type to Automatic and hit Apply.
  • Open again and select the Start button to start the service or restart your PC.
