Hi -
I installed 2 server adapters in a Netware 4.10 server using latest drivers.
They are set up for ALB and work great, except for one thing. We have a Lexmark
Optra S 2450 laser printer. It has an adapter card that acts as a printserver.
After installing the server adapters, only some printjobs actually print.
We are using the latest firmware revision for the Lexmark card. we then created
a queue on another server that hasn't been upgraded to the server adapters.
The printer services that queue just fine.
Lexmark's tech support had not heard of this problem, (or even of ALB type cards).
They said the printserver card in the printer uses the MAC address of the NIC
and that perhaps the 2 server adapters have different MAC addresses, hence only some
print jobs actually print.
Can you help me with this ? I want to updrade our other server to the server adapters.

It appears Lexmark was right on target with the problem.
Some devices such as printers that communicate at the data link
(MAC)layer might have problems with teaming which communicates at
the network layer.
