Question about Frigidaire 24 in. FDB510LC Free-standing Dishwasher
Frigidaire model FDB510LC53,less than 2 yrs old.
It seems on any wash cycle, it will take 4-8hrs to complete the cycle.
We timed it today on "Normal" cycle...start time 9;45AM...Finished at 2:15pm ( 4 1/2 hrs.) is this normal///the "Heavy Duty" cycle will go nearly 8hrs.
Any hints ( othrt than total replacement??
The most obvious failure would be the mechanical timer that is behind / part of the knob used to select the cycle.
But, you may want to inspect the heating element in the sump area -- some dishwashers will wait (and wait) for the water temp to come up high.
