Power inverter pc 500 once u put power to it the red light comes on and beeps but no a/c power

Usually the beeping means the outlet is being short circuited or you are drawing too much power. Make sure your hooked up device(s) don't draw more than 90W and are intact.

Hi, if it wont load your icons and freezes before your xmb, put it into safemode and try restoring the filing system. to get it into safemode...
hold down the power button while the console is in standby. the light will go from red to green.it will beep once flash green beep again, and then beep a third time. after the third beep the light will turn red.

once the light is red, take your finger off the power button and place it back on the power button. the light will go from red to green, beep once flash and then beep twice quickly. after it does the double beep, take your finge roff. the light will stay green and you'll get a screen asking you to connect the controller.

after connecting the controller, try option 3, or whichever option is restore filing system. this can possibly correct media loading and will 95% of the time fix the console when it freezes before loading up your icons(the xmb)

the batteries might be due for replacement or or the inverter is not receiving power to be charged

Press and hold the power down til it beeps twice,,,,This should reset the system...Hope it helps

It Beeps? that's a new one.
Has it been modified in any way
or wrap with towels - put in the frig ?

Did you try another power supply?

I repaired over 500 total, and i have never seen a pizo buzzer in
the unit before , so wheres the beeping coming from??

insetad of restoring the filing system, restore the default settings ore restart the system

pls try to use another compatible memory stick.

then confirm the status of your micro processor

i have the same problem, i know that there is a kit you can buy to fix this problem but i have to look for that info. but in the meantime this is what i do to fix the problem, i hold the power button down on the remote until the blue power light on the tv comes on. then wait and see if the picture comes on. if you get sound and no picture then press and hold the power button on the remote until the power goes off and then back on again, so the blue light should turn red then back to blue again. immediately release the button or you will turn the tv off again. wait and see if the picture comes on. if no picture and sound again then repeat the process. it can take anywhere from 2 tries to 50 or more! sorry but this is the best i have found so far. also, if you notice the dish network emblem come on then leave it and the picture will come back. good luck.
