My machine is receiving faxes but won't print them. The display shows "Memory received." I went through the steps shown in the manual to print faxes when the machine is in secure mode, but something is missing from my display. From the manual it appears that beneath the words "Secure mode" there is supposed to be more text, which you are supposed to be able to scroll through using the right and left arrow keys. On my machine that area is blank.
I also tried clearing the machine's memory and doing a complete reset. Neither process seems to work. So I've got faxes that are stuck in memory that can neither be printed nor deleted. And I can't turn off Secure Mode, which I don't need and never intentionally turned on.
This machine cost us $1000 and has always been a huge disappointment. It doesn't surprise me that Xerox discontinued this model.

Update: I tried installing the ControlCentre software and running a firmware update. This cleared the memories but didn't fix the real problems. Still no luck printing received faxes or changing settings for Secure Mode.
The technician access code you provided, and the subsequent complete reset, fixed the problem. That was really all I needed.
Perhaps I didn't spell it out clearly in my post but, prior to that reset, I had no access to the Secure Receive submenu. I had been through the menus as you describe in your post but when I got to Secure Receive, there was nothing displayed on the bottom half of the LCD. After using your technician code and complete reset, I can see all the Secure Receive options and use the right/left arrows to scroll through them. I am back in business!
This is the sort of info I could never hope to get for free from Xerox. They have really burned their bridges with me as a potential future customer.
