Hi

If clicking a hyperlink in Outlook Express appears to do nothing at all, there are likely one or more registered file associations that are configured incorrectly. To repair the associations:

Open My Computer and click Folder Options on the Tools menu.
Click the File Types tab.
Select URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol in the list of registered file types.
Click the Advanced button (Windows XP), or the Edit button (other versions).
In the list of Actions, select open and then click the Edit button.
The Application used to perform action box should contain this, including quotation marks:
“C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” -nohome
If instead it contains a short name version of that path, or an incorrect path, change it to the above.
Click OK, click OK.
Repeat steps 3-7 for the file type URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol with Privacy.
Click OK to close the Folder Options window.

I have an email from China I can't access and it is @ 163.com so finding out something about your service may help me access this email adress. thank you!!!

Hi
My advice to you in this matter is "STAY WELL CLEAR".
The website is in Traditional Chinese and is the website for an Internet Service Provider, with lots of links on it to news articles, sports news etc etc and lots and lots of advertisements. There is also a box where you can sign up for a free e-mail account, and I would think that the e-mail address you quote belongs to somebody who has set it up purely to send out spam (best case scenario) or to get valid e-mail addresses which they can then hack for various purposes or to get you to give them some personal information from which they might be able to steal your identity (worst case scenario).
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

Is the mailing list and/or mail you are receiving from FixYa?

If so, look at the bottom of the mail. Each has a link you can click to unsubscribe yourself from any automated mailings.

I have no way to sine in

Hi there,

A lot of users like you have been having a hard time signing into yahoo email lately. This is because of routing problems between your ISP or existing internet provider facing yahoo's mail servers and vice versa. Try to see if you are able to login your email by going to http://wap.yahoo.com . Just click Mail link in the upper right corner of your website and login. Though this may be temporary, this problem usually go away but it would help if you report this problem to your ISP so that they could re-route their servers.

Please let me know if your find this advice helpful. Thank you for using FixYa.

Dear Sir/Madam, I cannot open my main

Hi,
it is just part of the glitch in Yahoo!'s new format.
Server Farm incompatibility is usually the problem.
Thousands are having many different problems with their e-mail.
This applies to almost all areas of mail (including signing in, composing, receiving, sending, attachments, photos, etc.), original and beta mail, messenger and search problems. I have been sent mail that is dated as far back as 8 days. But I do get it!!! The same thing applies to their recieving my mail, for the last few weeks.
Yahoo! is wrapping up a few remaining compatibility issues between Yahoo! Mail Beta (beta testing lasts for at least 6 months!!!) and the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.
1. You will have less problems with original mail if you sign in via Messenger! Go to preferences, general, then check box: Automatically sign me in when I click a Yahoo! link in Messenger.
2. Or if you don't have Yahoo Messenger:
Beta wouldn't let me in so I went to beta help and it said to click on my toolbar mail icon. So I did and it worked!
3. Or if you don't have beta mail:
http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/ can be used to sign into Yahoo!, then put yahoo back into the address bar and hit go. It will take you back to Yahoo! and you can open mail normally. Otherwise, you can open mail in wap, but it is blind. I had to go through wap each time I logged in.
4. BETA means TESTING!!!
So, it seems we have to stop using these two programs (if you installed them) or try to work around them until they finish wrapping things up. Your IE6 is still installed, so you just have to go to: Start, settings/control panel, add/remove programs and delete IE7. For Beta mail you only have to use the switch back option located in your mail inbox. Also, where you sign in by clicking on: Are you having trouble?. You can keep trying them periodically!

You are experiencing a problem with your internet connection or your browser. I recommend if you can update your windows, perform a full scan of your system, and delete the temporary internet files, cookies, etc.

Now, try to log on to your email again.

If you need further assistance, let me know.

I can open yahoo home page but further cannot open any links

Make sure that you have Internet connection by going to other websites which you don't normally visit.
If you have security software, try disabling it temporarily then try to click on the links again.

If you're using Internet Explorer browser, clear temporary internet files which are unnecessary. To do that, open Internet Explorer, at the top of the bar, click on Tools>Internet Options> then click on Delete Cookies, Delete Files and Clear History.

If you have Mozilla Firefox browser, go to Tools and click on Clear Private Data.

If you still can't access the links on your yahoo homepage, check if you can access links from other websites. If you're also having problems with other websites, it's a browser issue.

In cases like this, if you have Internet Explorer and you have this problem, I would suggest downloading Mozilla Firefox from www.mozilla.com

Also try to reboot your computer and modem..

And scan the computer for possible virus infection using a security software..

You may also contact your ISP so they can check if there's any latency or fluctuations on their end.

step 1:
Try to check the mail using a browser(internet explorer). check whether that domain is under blocked list or not. Click on mail options and go to blocked domain list. check in your mails as well as your sister's mail.
step 2:
You can also check the blocked list in outlook :
click tools menu -> select options -> preferences tab ->click junk mail button-> click blocked senders tab -> check for any domains listed there.
