Hi Leah.
if you plug it again is it indicate charging.
if yes it can be power button problem.
if not it can be softwear or hardwear error.
you have to repair it.
Medion Model number? Usually if you run Windows Updates Windows 7 will apply a generic driver. Did the Medion come with Windows 7? Have you tried a System Restore? If you oprn the Device Manager , do you see any Unknown Devices? Slects VIEWS, select Show Hidden Devices, open the Unknown Devices and try to Update Drivers.
Your bios setting has been changed. So just start your computer and keep pressing f2 or f8 or f12 or del button in either of the cases. When the bios window opens then you will see the boot menu somewhere in it and rearrange the boot sequence to harddisk then cd-rom then network and then usb (in some cases you can also make floppy disk.) This will resolve the problem but if your os is being corrupted then there is no option rather than the re installation of os (it occurs in some cases.)
if you can't even access the bios, the first thing i'd do is to try and reload it. open your computer, find your motherboard, and find the little cmos switch.change it's position, wait a for 30 secs, the flip it back in the previous position. if your computer still won't start, then your motherboard is prolly faulty and you need to get a new one.
your ram can be removed by first pressing down the little switches on either side of the thingy that holds the ram, and then gently removing it. when you put in the new ram, make sure your pc is placed so that you're putting the ram in from above. then just gently squeeze it in and flip the switches back. you should hear a click.
