Question about Craftsman 25cc Gas Line Trimmer
Hi,Please show me how to hook up new fuel lines to my poulan trimmer. It has a primer bulb and total of 3 fuel lines. The primer bulb has an "IN" and an "OUT" ports. The caburetor has a bottom and upper ports. The long small fuel line from the gas tank has the filter. The big and short fuel line from the gas line has what looks like a vent adapter. I tried to hook up to different ways, but it only run when I put a FULL choke. It will keep running continuously on Full choke. When I turned to 1/2 choke, it die. Thanks in advance. ART

Yes, you are right. The larger line goes to the primer bulb and only goes into the tank about an inch. The coupling just keeps the line from pulling out of the tank. The smaller line goes to the carb. This line must rest comfortably on the bottom of the tank with the filter attached to the end.

SOURCE: Poulan Trimmer PPB100 fuel lines
The larger of the fuel lines is the main fuel line. It is the one that has the filter stuck in the end of it and runs out the larger hole in the tank to a fitting on the carb. The smaller line should be about one inch into the tank and comes out the smaller hole and runs to one of the nipples on the primer bulb. Press the primer bulb and put your finger in front of the fittings. The one that you feel air coming out of when you do this is the fitting that runs from the primer bulb to the carb. Hope this helps and good luck.

Hi There, Check the primer bulb for tare or pin holes. Replace it. Check and clean carb jet it maybe plugged with debree. Also check for spark which you didn't say. Replace with correct plug.
Note; Do not use strong cleaners on rubber seals (O rings and gaskets) They dry up and crack.
If needed use a dabble of grease on seals

Testimonial: "Thank you. I had to merely add more gas to tank & bulb siphoned fine. Changed the plug and bingo! It started & runs great. "
