Question about Philips 42PFL5332D 42 in. LCD Television
TV went out while watching. Called Philips customer support but out of
warranty. They said to update firmware; if that doesn't work then out of
luck. After unplugging over night the TV came back on long enough to update the firmware. After being on 10 minutes the same thing happened. TV will not come back on, so I unplugged again and don't know what to do.
Screen goes kind of grayish first and then black. The blue led light remains on. My guess is maybe something is overheating and shuts it
off. Please let me know of any suggestions since it is out of warranty.

Tips for a great answer:
Also, check if your unit is still under warranty/extended warranty
period, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Opening the
back cover will void the warranty.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
