Question about Singer Featherweight 132Q Mechanical Sewing Machine
Singer model 132 featherweight . If some one has this part of the manual and send me by e-mail or make it available for download that may solve the problem.
Have you checked to see what the stitch length setting is?
If it is threaded correctly in the top and in the bobbin, will it sew in reverse?

By turning the bottom dial on the righthand side of the machine, you can change type of stitch. For zig zag, you need to set it to B (seen on the front of the machine). You can adjust the width of the zig zag using the same dial.

Your top tension must be set on 5 or there is some cotton/fluff stuck in your top tension unit or you have no tension on your bobbin case

SOURCE: sewing machine tension
Hi. The upper tension is too loose (even tho it looks ok). If the upper thread is too loose, it can't pull the bobbin thread up to properly form the stitch and you get those messy 'birds nest' on the bottom side of the fabric. I posted a Tip on Adjusting Tension--read that and adjust your upper tension.
