Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
A piece of my daughter's plastic ring came off and I believe it is lodged between the inner and outer drums. The drum still spins but there is a soft rubbing noise that occasionally becomes a louder grinding noise. How hard will it be to get the plastic piece out? Does the drum need to be removed? (Whirlpool Duet HT Washer)Thanks
First remove power from the washer. The top panel #2 in the diagram can be removed by removing the two screws in back. The kick panel #16 also has two screws that hold it in place. From there you should be able to find what you lost. Best of luck!
