Question about Targus (AMU02US) Mouse
I have checked the BIOS setting USB power is enabled. This is affecting all USB ports. The Laptop is docked and has a USB keyboard attached to it. With the USB port in the Keyboard, I can use the mouse. Using the laptop USB ports I cannot. I have also tested the laptop ports using another mouse same model and it worked. So I know it is not the ports or the mouse. I have a replacement mouse that I am going to use. I just wanted to put this one to bed as this is not the only laptop or time with this issue. Please advise.
The mouse worked initially....have you tried doing a system restore back to a few weeks ago to see if that solves the problem..
With Vista and so many of it's incompatibility issue's...you maybe have downloaded something and it corrupted your software for that mouse...
Here is the url with vista drivers. Redownload the drivers and install...see if this helps

1)have the mouse connected to your pc. then right click on "my computer" and go to properties. then go to device manger. you will be looking fofr human interface device. unistall it. restart your computer it will reinstall the drivers. contact me for further help

have you tried the mouse in an other system.
Try going to the device manager and remove any other mice. it will redetect any new hardware. Start/control panel/ device manager/ look for mice... What operating system do you have?
