Where the cartridge has a hole in it, make sure the tape is IN the print head, not over or under it. Also, check the type & color of the tape. They have some strange combinations that are only visible under certain conditions.

Download the manual for instructions and images of how to change the tape cassette (this should be a simple operation, unless something is wrong with your machine):

My Brother PT65 label maker powers up and when I push print...the rollers turn but the label does not print or come out.

Take out your label cart and pull the tape a bit. If it is hard to pull, it is jammed inside. Just keep gently pulling until it frees up. If this is the problem, it should work when you replace the tape cart. Had the same problem with mine yesterday - it now works.

Where can I find the 1/2 inch wife labeling tapes used in Scotch brand (model EA-450) label maker? Label maker is over 20 years Old.

If you can get an accurate measurement of the label, you might be able to find another label series that might work. Other than that, I don't know. Maybe Ebay?

My ps 1100 label maker prints only on black side of tape

This depends on the TAPE CARTRIDGE you have in your label printer. Apparenlty, you have a TRANSPARENT TAPE on it, and the printer prints in BLACK only.

Just replace the tape cartridge

Too much tape

Hi, it seem your label maker is set to the last(amount) of labels printed. Go to: Print Labels, click; Number of Labels; clear to set to (1) Label. That should stop the run off of labels. Thanks paul70f9

Change cartridge Problem - Brother BRTPT65 P-Touch Model PT-65 Home and Hobby Label Maker Printer

Once you snap in the catridge you have to put the back of the p-touch back on. After that you can feed through the tape by pressing Code Space. If the back of your P-touch is not on it will not advance through.... I learned the hard way :) Hope it helps you all.
