Question about Toshiba Satellite A100-S8111TD Notebook

I cannot activate my toshiba lap top

It requested a product key. I entered the product key and it keep saying it is invalid.

    I hve used the product key at the back of my laptop already and I kept having invalid.
    Below is the product key I have been using with no result.YP3CP-38QBK The program is windows vista 2003

The code will be like "YP3CP-38QBK-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx". The code is to be entered in a month's time from when you have bought your laptop.

Hi,
If the vista is shipped with the machine by Toshiba then go to activate and activate by phone then u will have to contact Microsoft and provide them the activation key which is generated by clicking activate by phone this is a 6 digit key and they will provide u the new product key.
There is no valid and legal alternative as this is the Microsoft's drive to stop piracy.
u can find Microsoft's no.s by support.microsoft.com

The easiest way since you're having trouble is probably over the phone.

That's not the full product key... be that as it may don't post the product key here... i suggest you give microsoft a call as you appear to have a valid license... they will help you activate that.

    What is the label in the bottom of your computer and what is the windows version you have? if you have a xp lisence in the bottom and a vista system, you won't be able to active, in that case you need to buy vista.
