Question about E Sky Flight Simulator Training Kit
I just purchased the 4 CH Hummer-370XL HSM-01. Included in the package was a Simulator Kit (driver, cable and TX). The label on the front of the TX reads: Digital Proportional Channels 6 Radio Control System. On the back is a Trainer Port. The cable supplied with the kit attached to the back of the TX but not my Microsoft Windows XP Laptop computer. The supplied cable has a female Serial plug, matching the one on the computer. So I bought a male Serial plug to USB converter wire. I loaded the driver supplied with the new cable and inserted the SKY simulator disc in the (D) drive.
Results of my actions: I am able to use the keyboard to control the Heli but when I try using the TX I get nothing. The Heli just sits on the launch pad and slowly rotates. Can you please give me a direction in which to turn? You help would be greatly appreciated!
Many Serial to USB converters are not compatible with FMS because of the way interpret the signal. Some are OK but it may be cheaper and simpler to buy a USB flight sim box. Try ebay

When I re-started my computer and calibrated the simulator again, it started to work. As simple as that.
Thanks for your help.

This is to easy fix.
Open FMS click on controls on the top menu.
A box will appear click on "Joystick interface" so it is hilighted blue.
Then click the button mapping and calibration.
When this box below appears put ticks in the "Inv" for the channels you wish to reverse. While you are here it may be a good time to
'Calabrate" click this button an follow the instruction. This will help your controls be more accurate. When your done click OK on each box untill you are back to the sim. Happy flying!!
