The instructions for opening the case are in the Quick Reference Guide
Here

ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/all-products/esuprt_desktop/esuprt_optiplex_desktop/optiplex-gx620_reference%20guide_en-us.pdf

Each case has a different latch scheme, so look through pages 21, 22, 23, and 24 to find your case.

Power light orange

Open the box (unplugged) and take the memory out. Plug it back it, if you turn it on and there are no beeps, the motherboard has gone bad. Only fix is to replace the motherboard, or replace the whole computer. If it does beep, the memory is bad; replace the RAM (memory) While you have the computer open look at the little can like objects close to the back opening of the computer. If they have brown goo on top of them, or around them, or if the tops of some of them are dome shape, the motherboard is shot. This was a common problem with some of the OptiPlex units.

Check the capacitors on the motherboard, Dell had a BIG problem with faulty capacitors on the GX270, GX520, GX620, GX745 and GX755 units. The parts would cause the unit to either not boot at all or lockup booting or running programs. I would bet you have some that are just beginning to fail and the motherboard power is not stable which would mean the chips are not getting enough power. Here is a link to an article about the issue and what to look for on your board.

I HAVE A BLACK FRONT GRILL & NEED TO REPLACE IT. CAN I BUY JUST THE FRONT OR DO I HAVE TO BUY THE WHOLE DESKTOP CASE & WHERE? & HOW MANY $ $ ?

For this solution I would suggest contacting Dell, or checking Ebay. You may find an Optiplex GX620 on Ebay for parts, that you can buy for a song. (And sing it yourself)

Should a Front panel Cover not be available, (Or too pricey), you may want to look into buying a new computer case.
You can buy a decent, good looking, new computer case, for around $60 to $80
Then transfer your parts to it.
Here are examples,

You might also want to check Ebay for this too.
