Question about Dell 3010cn Laser Printer

Printer error message 004-321 restart printer took out toner compartment and put back in and it stil doesn't work any other ideas?

Remove the drum. turn the printer off and on. when it asks for the drum, install it. if that does not help, call support (1-877-459-7298) and they will probably replace the drum.

There was a paper jam, so I took out the catridge... put it back, but cant get the thing to work. Message "CHECK TONER/DRUM CRG". Advise please


Remove the Toner Cartridge and reinsert it properly till it properly fixed then restart the printer.

Try restarting your printer, if this does not help make sure that the toner cartridges are set in properly and locked in place.

Fairly new toner and display reads "Install black cardtricge"


I have just resolved the "Install black cartrige" issue on my printer I am not sure if it will solve everyone's problem but these are the steps I took to solve the problem.

1. removed the black cartrige.
2. removed all the paper from the tray and noticed that one of the pages was a little jammed.
3. I then turned the printer on and off again and still encountered the "Install black cartrige" error message.
4. I then put the black cartrige back in the the printer and restarted the printer.
5. When the printer restarted it started to initialize correctly and I perform some test prints to confirm that it was back up and running.

Hi,

Please follow the solution in the link below. Also as you putting in the cartridge always check for loose toner in the area and on the cartridge itself as this can block the sensors.

RESTART Printer


The new magenta cartridge you put in is bad. If you put the old one back in then you get the low toner message. Take the new cartridge back and get another new one.  I found the answer on the dell troubleshoot website

Keep Getting Error Message "(Colour) Toner Not Installed"


I think in the menu you have to select replace cartride.. then new or same with new toner...

each toner cartridge has connections and you must make sure all are tight... or you get alot of errors.
