    Hi restynrm,

we would need more information before being able to help you.

Which operating system are you using? On which computer (Samsung Desktop is not enough to know, please add the specific type)?

    Kind regards,

If you have the driver cd from samsung install all of them.

If not you first have to identify the sound card you have.

Follow the steps below to do that:

Open up device manager and look for unknown devices in the list.
check the details tab in the properties of each of the unknown devices listed.

In the details tab choose hardware id in the drop down list.
The first row of letters oand numbers there can be used in google to figure out what hardware you have .
Based on what u find on google you can download the drivers and you will have sound.

If you need steps for any of this let me know.

If this fixes it please rate.
Thanks
Keshey

I cannot play music

There are several possible causes for this. Can you hear sound when your computer starts up or shuts down? If so, we can eliminate the sound card being faulty. What music application are you using? If it's a different music type than a .wav or .mp3 file, some applications encounter problems when trying to play various files. I suggest Media Monkey or iTunes. If either of these do not help, I would suggest checking the troubleshooting section of the manufacturer's website.
