That model not available over here, so I don't know for sure, but is the bottle a fairly simple 'clear" style?
If so, then try this (only if it is as I stated), put a few spoonfuls of sugar into the bottle, shake it around and dump it out.
What is probably happening is that the machine is still 'seeing' toner via a sensor, due to the left over residue within the bottle.
I know it may sound like a silly solution, but the toner sticks very well to the sugar.
Again, only use this procedure if the bottle is simply that.....a fairly clear, simple style.....good luck

When i try to print i get an error msg saying waste ink reserve tank is full

the waste ink reserv tank is under where the cartridge sits when not in use. if you send it ti be serviced they clean it out, however if you any good at taking pieces apart you can get a good wad of tissue and scoop it out your self, just make sure you clean where the sensor is and it will carry on. if you use a solvent to clean it up sparkly be care full not to get it in any boards or circutry oh! and turn it of the power first

Message "wasted ink tank near full" on Canon Multipass F80

Inkjet printers have a fibrous pad inside them that collects the waste ink from cleaning the print head. Over time, this pad fills up with ink and can no longer hold any more. When this occurs, the printer indicates a "waste ink tank full" error.

Replacing the waste ink absorption pads is something an authorized canon service facility can take care of for you. Once they are replaced, it'll be functional again.

Canon muti-pass MP360 INK TANK FULL

I believe what you are seeing is "WASTE INK TANK FULL"? This means that the tank that collects the waste ink from cleaning the head is full. You can read more than you ever want to know on this subject on the following link: These are the steps to clear the message by reseting the counter: 1)Printer on, press Additional Functions, Scan, Copy, Scan Now you should be in service mode from there for waste ink tank reset 2)Select Test mode which is like the last available selection 3)Select #8 Printer Test, it will do something here like cleaning or something then it will come up with some other options this is where it gets a bit confusing cause now all it says is like 8-2 or 8-3 push the + or - button until it says 8-3 then hit the select button The menu will now say EEPROM Clear Select Ink count which is option (0) and press set Your done!
