Question about Dual Electronics N99i Cellular Phone
Im having problems with receiving and sending mms. When i go to retrieve the mms it says its downloading this usually takes 3-5 minutes and then says it failed. Or when i try to send the message i add the image it works then i go to send it and it says the image is too large. Ive tryed many things but i dont have a manual so i cant check the settings for help. Ive even brought a new memory card. NEED HELP PLEASE.
Unfortunatly these phones can only send up to (usually) 128kb and recieve up to 50kb. That isn't that big but there is nothing you can change on the phone to make it work. You can resize the pics and try to resend, and have friends send you smaller pics.
This was my major issue with this phone too.

You should check MMS profile setting. The proper setting should be configured before sending or receiving MMS. To retrieve the MMS automatically, you should set the settings at "Auto download" settings. To check,
1. Go to Message from the idle screen.
2. Go to "Settings" and then "Multimedia messages."
3. Select "Receiving options" and "Home network."
4. Go to "Foreign network" menu and check the status
5. If it is set at "Auto download", you can receive MMS automatically.
6. If it is set at "Manual", you should operate MMS retrieve function manually.
