Question about Fagor LFA-65 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher
That fault appers during prewash or main wasing. Dishwasher connected to hot water, accorrding to manual. Code F9 signed as alternative. No other problems found (door, heating, water, drain...) One week before problem, Dishwasher was cleaned with descaler Colgonit. Sorry for poor english.
make sure the strike is adjusted correctly.. it may have gotten bent out of place.. the strike is the little metal tab that comes off of the top of the center of the tub and goes into the door when you close the door.

Problem with the distributor motor. It is a small white plastic part which receives water from the heater, and alternatively distributes water to upper or lower difussors. If the motor locks, or the internal sensor doesn't sense the position well, it will show F9. Motor can be repaired in most cases, and at last, it can be swaped

SOURCE: I have a Fagor LFU-451T
I have had a look at the user manual for your dishwasher.
I am surprised you have not observed any of the error codes flashing. (see page 36).
If you fill the dishwasher manually and then it works then I am inclined to suspect the water inlet solenoid (assuming the inlet tap is open under the kitchen sink).
Also check if the dishwasher is fitted with the Aquastop device which could be kicking in and stopping the water inlet.
