So you have to run both of the subs to your amp so that its see's 2ohms. The L7's probably have to voice coils to connect both the positive's together and both the negatives together to the positive and negative on your amp

I have a lanzar vector VCT-2210 2000 watt amp hooked up to two menace 1300 watt subs. when i turn the volume up on the head unit the amp goes into protection mode. i checked all my wiring and it seems all...

Things to check: Is the wire between the amp and the subs heavy enough to pass 167 amps? 2000 * 12 = 166.66666 amps. Max volts on the subs are 10 volts....close enough. Are you sure you're using the line out on the head unit? You may be over driving the amp if it's anything else.If the head unit doesn't have line out connectors then you'll need to get an attenuator for each channel. Do you have caps on the 12 v power in wires? They'll keep the headlights from dimming and the alternator will last longer if you do.

Prosound 1000 amp protect light

If the amp has an overload protection to it, which is sounds like it does, there should be a reset for the amp or a method of resetting the amp to working condition. Go to the manufacturers website and look for that or send them an email. They will be able to direct you.

When I watch movies, the center speaker sounds "tinny" or "hollow." TV sound is OK. How do I fix this?

get a new center speaker. make sure it is the same ohmage as the old one and at least as many watts as the old one. the manual for your amp will state the wattage of the center channel, and may list the ohmage, but the ohmage will more likely be stamped on the back of the speaker itself.

the ohmage will be labeled with a ω (the greek symbol for "omega") and could be 2, 4, 6 8 or 16 ohm. the ohmage must match exactly. too few ohms will blow the amp, and too many ohms will make the center speaker too quiet.

Yes. Download the program "Everest" Here is a link:

Run it. Even the free trial should give you the information you are looking for. I use it so often, I just paid for the full version.

Hope this helps.

the best way is to connect your master output to the uca200 input and uca out to your amp. u have to use a sound editing software to record.suggestions-audacity.
