In the game display settings, change it to 'open in window'. in addition, make sure your system resolution is set to 1024x768, and the game resolution should be set to 800x600. that should make it easier to see the gameplay as well.
if the game doesn't open to allow you to go to the display, there should be an alternative safe mode shortcut in the F22 folder in the start menu ... hope this works for ya.

Hi, try installing your red alert 2 installer to another computer. If it works your computer might be the problem. Check if you have enough space for the game.Try changing the destination folder. If it does not work your installer might be the problem.

Crashes to windows after playing about 5 minutes

Most likely the issue you are having is your computer is under powered to run both Vista Home Premium and the game. Vista is heavy on the resources and since you are running Vista Home Premium you will need more then some running the Basic version.

So the easy fix would be to up you memory upto 2 gigs. Note best practice for Vista is to have atlest 2 gigs of ram in the system.

If you still have trouble I would test the game on another Vista computer with a 2.0 or higher CPU to see if it still has trouble. If it does not then most likely it will not work on your computer.

Also if you did an upgrade from XP to Vista you might have so Windows issue. So if the test on the other computer worked you might try a fresh install of Vista to resolve any possible Windows issues.

Hope this helps

I'm unable to install Mortal kombat 4 in Windows XP SP 2. As soon as I activated setup, it exits with the error Msg "Start Menu Error". Please help

I've been trying to solve the same problem. Here's a solution I discovered that worked for the same problem in Vista; it may work also for XP.

To install and play Mortal Kombat 4 in Vista:

Click setup.exe.
Choose installation folder (create it later).
Get error message.
Do not click "Clean up."
CTRL-SHIFT-ESC and kill setup.exe process.

Create installation folder (selected during setup).
Copy all files in DATA folder on CD to installation folder.
Rename MK4.exe to Mortal Kombat 4.exe.

Install patch (optional).

FIGHT!

Error message for delta force game

check that it works on Vista first.
Then un-install anything you don't need.
Check that you have done the system requirements to RECOMMENDED, NOT MINIMUM.
And make perfect sure that your graphics card is at least 1 level better than the recommended one
(eg. ATi Radeon 9500= 1 lvl higher= ATi Radeon 9600)
Please rate me
